Further Reading: The Purpose of Bail

The purpose of bail is to incentivize defendants to show up for court. This mechanism was put in place to ease the burden of the courts since having to track down defendants is a time-consuming and costly process.

While bail certainly helps the legal system run more smoothly, it can also have negative consequences on a person who cannot afford their bail amount.

The 8th Amendment protects defendants against excessive bail charges, but sometimes bail is too much for a person to pay regardless.

This is why we offer bail bonds with flexible payment plans. Don’t wait in jail for your trial to conclude. Call us today, and let us help you get back home as quickly as possible!
